My work is an endeavor to understand the ever-changing relationship between nature in its broadest meaning and myself. 

Whereas, what is regarded as understood disappears into question, forcing the traveling mind to abandon stable position and once again set off wandering; all but lost save the desire for understanding.

My work is the reflection and evidence of this seeking.

I often express this perpetual exploration towards understanding through the character of the wanderer/searcher/observer/acceptably lost.

Through exaggerated compositions, frequented with the repetition of form and ambiguous shadows, I blend the representational and the abstract in an effort to portray the layering ideas inherent in my picturing of the structure of thought and understanding.
